Youth Parliament

In order to sensitise the students about democratic values and educate them in the parliamentary procedure ,a youth parliament was organized in the vidyalaya. The photographs and videos of the event were uploaded on the portal of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. The Youth Parliament session was successfully conducted at school level. 30 students from class 8 to class 12 participated in the youth competition. The event aimed to provide students with a platform to understand the parliamentary process, engage in debates, and experience the legislative process in a structured environment.
As opposition members, students asked questions to the ministers on various policies and issues, ranging from education, healthcare, environment, and foreign affairs. The event received positive feedback from both students and parents. Participants appreciated the opportunity to learn about the democratic process in a hands-on manner. This event will hopefully inspire more students to engage in civic activities and nurture the leaders of tomorrow.
