Library Details

Library is an integral component of the learning space in school. The library of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-5 Bathinda Cantt. strives to create a safe, positive, inviting and dynamic environment for our students and staff. It aims to provide a wide range of books to cater to the knowledge, information and recreational needs of our students and staff. Our library has approximately 12325 books including fiction , non-fiction and reference books. The entire collection of books is classified and shelved as per the categories of books. Apart from this, the library acquires 6 newspapers daily and around 35 magazines and periodicals. The seating capacity of the library is 60 students at a time. The stock and services of the library have been automated with e granthalaya.
