PM SHRI Schools

I am pleased to present a comprehensive report on the progress and initiatives undertaken by PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-5 Bathinda Cantt, under the PM SHRI scheme initiated by the Government of India. This transformative scheme aims to establish over 14,500 PM SHRI schools managed by Central Govt./State Govt./VT Govt./KVS & NVS. The PM SHRI scheme is proposed to be implemented over a period of 5 years, starting from the academic year 2022-23 to 2026-27. This extended timeframe allows for the effective execution of a myriad of activities aimed at enriching the educational experience of students. The overarching purpose of PM SHRI School is to nurture students in a manner that transforms them into engaged, productive, and contributing citizens and aims to imbibe Experiential Learning, Holistic Education, Inquiry-Driven and Discovery-Oriented, Learner-Centered Approach, Discussion-Based Instruction, Flexibility in curriculum is adaptable to accommodate diverse learning styles and emerging educational trends and Alignment with National Education Policy 2020. In adherence to the scheme of the Government of India, our school has been renamed as PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-5 Bathinda Cantt. The PM SHRI initiative is centrally sponsored, reflecting a significant commitment from the government to enhance the educational landscape across the country. Under the PM SHRI umbrella, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-5 Bathinda Cantt has successfully organized a spectrum of activities providing the learners with Diverse Learning Experiences.
